‘The Audibles’ awards, promoted by the Audio Marketing Association (Europe), are the only competition that encourages and rewards creative and marketing excellence among European audio marketing companies.
The 2013 annual awards event took place in November, beckoning guest speakers and judges with over 20 years’ experience in the audio marketing industry. Premier Business Audio won two of the three award categories, and was runner up in the third. This included ‘Best Contact Centre Audio’ for their ‘Barclays Cycle Hire’ production and ‘Most Creative Script’ for in-store audio with ‘Wren Kitchens’. These prestigious awards were the result of months of passionate and innovative creative development among many of the Premier team. Working closely with these brands, the Premier team were able to manifest voice and music that seamlessly integrated with their customer touch points.
Senior lecturer of strategic brand management and identity at Aston University, Dr Keith Glanfield commented on the merits of Premier’s Barclays Cycle Hire production saying that the work was “Efficient, friendly and understandable, with a lightness of tone. Well produced”.
To accompany the two winning ensembles, Premier Business Audio also received a runner-up award for ‘Most Effective Production’ with their local Basingstoke customer ‘JJ’s’. This independent children’s entertainment complex receives overhead messaging and rights paid music, meticulously developed by Premier’s creative team. The judges were keen to highlight Premier’s effective use of voice and music that exactly matched the brand and goals of the JJ’s business. As with this example, Premier takes the same creative exactness with small to medium enterprises as they do with national and worldwide brands to create a perfect production, reflecting the values and the targets of any given industry.
